GENERATIONS
Generational gaps in all facets of life impede progress and can lead to confusion, crisis, and ultimately the collapse of a nation. As a generational “connector” Daniel understands both the similarities and incompatibilities between generations from a wide range of ages and backgrounds. Drawing from his experience, knowledge and understanding, Daniel’s generational speeches work to close the gap to unify campuses, communities, and cities; or any organization.
POLITIC 101: THE LANGUAGE OF A GENERATION
Though his focus primarily pertains to helping show that it is vital in the American political process to educate, embrace, and mobilize people between the ages of 18 and 30, Daniel understands that political issues are at the forefront of society’s pressing matters. Few states have made it mandatory for students to engage in volunteering; and as of 2008, Maryland and the District of Columbia are the only areas/states that include service-learning as part of high school graduation requirements. Daniel hopes to persuade his audience to change the way we approach voter registration, voter education, and voter mobilization, by conveying his belief that “voting is more than a sacred right; it is our moral obligation”. OUR ENDANGERED VALUES (ETHICS & VALUES)
Any society with ethics defines the principles it stands by and each citizen must adhere to these guidelines to maintain the integrity of their respective campuses, communities, and cities alike. As an ethics and values speaker, Daniel is well-versed in cultural morals and behavior, and has a genuine understanding of ethical concerns facing youth particularly in the 21st century. Theodore Roosevelt, American adventurer and the 26th president of the United States once wrote, “Character, in the long run, is the decisive factor in the life of an individual and of nations alike.” The future of our Nation rests upon the shoulders of those of us whom are willing to leave our children with and inheritance of character while embracing ethics and values as a moral obligation.
